FYI
The Resource Center is presently in transition. My name is Diane Frasher and I will be the Resource Center Director through the Spring of 2008 while the presbytery prepares more permanent plans for the the future of the center. I look forward to being of assistance to you.
I am available for assistance at the center on Mondays and Tuesdays for five hours each day (10-3). You are welcome to drop by and check out materials any time the office is open. My hours are flexible and if you have special needs, please let me know. The center itself is physically changing. Come in and take a look! It is a "work in progress" but many changes have been made already.
Use of the Resource Center is not restricted to Mondays and Tuesdays. The Office Manager, Mario Janesin, is available from 8:30 to 5, Monday through Thursday. Material may be checked out in my absence.
DVD's available
We have purchased interactive DVDs geared toward fourth graders. Additionally, a new book shelf has been purchased for stacking Sunday School teaching materials. Hopefully getting it out in the open, out of the filing cabinet will make it more accessible when you are searching for material.
Inventory continues and more books have been donated. During this process, it became apparent that replacement values needed to be updated. That has slowed down the inventory somewhat as an on-line replacement value for each book must be done.
If you can volunteer some time to assist with researching replacement values, I could REALLY use your help. It's easy to do and would really help speed up the cataloging process.
