Getting the Word Across: Speech Communication for Pastors and Lay Leaders by G. Robert Jacks.This  book offers disciplined, interpretive speech lessons. It is divided into two parts: practical techniques and important matters of voice and diction.

Read the Way You Talk: A Guide for Lectors by Jack Hartjes. This book comes out of the Roman Catholic Tradition but is extremely helpful in training Lay Worship assistants how to use their voice and understanding of Scripture in worship.

The Worship Workshop: Creative Ways to Design Worship Together by Marcia McFee. This is an interactive workshop that helps worship teams create meaningful and memorable worship for their congregations.
